With so much going on around the world at present, I firstly want to send my love to you and all of your families, as we certainly are in unprecedented times as we move towards what will inevitably become a new normal! Some of you may be fortunate enough to have not been as heavily affected with what’s going on as others and I’m sure for this reason you have nothing but gratitude. For those who have suffered pain and loss over recent months however, then my heart goes out to you as you face the healing journey, which I respect can only be done in your own time.
Although being on the radio has allowed me a certain level of freedom to help break up the monotony of the current circumstances, more importantly, it’s enabled me to hear the stories of the listeners at home, many of whom are self-isolating. Some cope well whilst others are struggling and don’t know which way to turn. I will always be a glass half full kind of person and it’s been amazing to gain feedback from people who need that little dose of positivity in their lives, just to help them through. So, no matter how up or down or happy or sad you may feel, just remember there is no right or wrong! You’re not on your own when it comes to the emotional rollercoaster of life, let alone the ride we are all facing moving forward. Just know you are loved and there are people who care for you and are with you all the way.
Be sure to stay safe and well and I’ll be checking back in with you again very soon.
