#MentalHealthAwarenessWeek

In some way, shape or form we’re all affected by Mental Health. Whether you’re someone who struggles with your own personal demons on a daily basis, or you’re the strength and shoulder to lean on for a family member or friend who you have to watch fight a lonesome battle, it can be hard on us all. Either way there should be no judgement because as cliché as it sounds, you should never judge a book by its cover!

We never know what pains people face and why, what circumstances and events have taken place in someone’s life to lead them to a particular way of thinking and at the end of the day, everyone has their own unique and individual story. All I do know is that there are some of the closest people to me in my life that wouldn’t be here today were it not for the love and support of those around them.

As much as we can put people on a pedestal, sing their praises and let them know how important they are, unless an individual can reach a point in their own mind of self-belief, all we can do is be there. Continue to remind those we love of why they are so special and that the world is a better place with them in it. After all, there’s no blueprint as to how a person should react to their emotions.

So, although it’s Mental Health Awareness Week, it’s important to know that once this week ends, the issue still stands for many. Be the good person you know you can be and never turn your back on those who need us the most, as it’s the little gestures that can sometimes have the most impact and when we least expect it! Sending love to you all xxx
